Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These terms cover your use of Centrepiece, a wedding planning product built by ectype. By creating an account or using the site, you're agreeing to them. We've kept this short and readable rather than dense legal boilerplate.

The service

Centrepiece's core planning tools and RSVP wedding website are free to use. A Centrepiece Pass subscription — $13/month or $109/year — unlocks unlimited guests, digital invitations, the full runsheet and the budget ledger. You can cancel anytime, and billing is handled securely by Stripe.

Acceptable use

Use Centrepiece for planning your own wedding or event. Don't use it to store or send anything illegal, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't try to disrupt or abuse the service (scraping, overloading it, attempting to access other accounts, and so on).

Your data, your responsibility

You own the wedding and guest data you enter. Because you're the one entering your guests' names and details, you're responsible for having their consent to do so and for the accuracy of what you enter.

No warranty

We work hard to keep Centrepiece reliable, but we provide it "as is" without any guarantee it will be fault-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use Centrepiece after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
